1. Data Controller and Contact

Data controller: UID.NET.UA website operator. For now, the project uses a transitional controller designation based on the operating domain while final legal entity details are being prepared.

Privacy contact email: games@uid.net.ua. You can use this email for access, deletion, consent withdrawal, or any other data protection request.

2. Data We Process

We process technical and usage data required to operate the service: IP-derived approximate region, browser type, device category, language, theme preference, consent settings, and game interaction events.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data. We also do not require account registration to play games, so direct identity data is generally not requested.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases

For EU users, we rely on GDPR Article 6 legal bases. For users in Ukraine, processing is aligned with the Law of Ukraine on Personal Data Protection and related regulations.

Required processing is limited to core service operation. Optional processing for analytics, advertising, and personalization is based on explicit consent and can be changed at any time.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and localStorage to keep required settings and to apply consent categories. Non-essential scripts are not activated until consent is granted.

You can open privacy settings at any time, update your choices, and immediately change which optional categories are allowed.

5. Recipients and International Transfers

Data may be shared with hosting providers, analytics vendors, and advertising partners acting as processors or independent controllers depending on their role.

If data is transferred outside the EEA, we use available legal safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, where applicable.

6. Retention Periods

Required settings are stored until they are updated or cleared by the user. Security and technical logs are retained for limited periods needed to detect incidents and maintain reliability.

Optional analytics and advertising data retention is determined by enabled providers and consent scope. We periodically review and minimize retained data.

7. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. Requests are handled through games@uid.net.ua.

If you believe processing violates your rights, you may file a complaint with the competent data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

8. Children and Policy Updates

The website is not intended for unlawful collection of children's personal data. If we learn that data was provided in violation of applicable age-related rules, we will take reasonable deletion steps.

We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. The current version is published on this page with an updated effective date.
